I am Candice Thomas. I am an integrative acupuncturist and the owner of LifeWorks Acupuncture in Tucson. This one is for the ladies!
I want to talk you today about what acupuncture does for menopause.
The menopause process can really be 10 years long. The magic age for menopause is 51 but the truth is, right around age 40, women hormones start destabilizing and things start moving.
We see hot flashes, night sweats, mood swings, depression, fatigue… Sound fun? For ten years?
So I wanted to let you know that acupuncture is absolutely amazing at helping ladies stabilizing their hormones and get the discomfort of menopause under control.
With acupuncture, really within just a few weeks, you see the night sweats and hot flashes disappear.
But what I would like for ladies to know is that according to Chinese medicine, we see this happening because liver and kidney functions are weakening. So what acupuncture is doing besides minimizing symptoms, is actually boosting the functionality of liver and kidney.
And so what this is doing, is really postponing the aging process for you. This is allowing your skin to stay soft, your energy to stay up, to sleep all the way through the night. It really help you feel and look your best for many years.
We don’t want to let the hormones go without a fight, right ladies?
So give me a call and let me help you hold on to your youth and your good sense of humor while we get you through the uncomfortable process of menopause and make it much more tolerable. Thanks so much, take care!
